The issues of women's participation in all social spheres and the development of Africa have recently been taking center stage in national and international forums. There are several individuals and organizations dedicated to this issue. The involvement and commitment of people and organizations has already enabled many advances in gender equality issues. The research aims to reflect on the role of women in the current context of our societies; their social dignity and potential, as well as their contributions to political life, scientific research and some constraints (barriers) of various kinds that they face and that constitute impediments to a more inclusive integration in the social sphere, in public life. The approach is qualitative in nature, triangulating data from bibliographical consultation, as well as available legislation. The aforementioned laws and regulations reflect a significant commitment to protecting women’s rights in Angola and Africa. However, the effective implementation of these laws remains a challenge, requiring continued efforts from civil society, governments and the international community to ensure that the rights enshrined in the legislation are truly respected and enforced, such as equity and parity, with a strong focus on the Southern African Region (SADC). We hope that education and awareness are the fundamental basis for changing perceptions and social practices that still perpetuate inequalities and abuses.
2025-07-15T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2025 SÓNIA DOS SANTOS SILVAhttp://revista.ispsn.org/index.php/rsn/article/view/506PLAYFUL ASSESSMENT AND INTERVENTION: CASE STUDY OF A STUDENT WITH LEVEL ONE AUTISM SPECTRUM DISORDER IN BENGUELA2025-07-15T10:56:14+00:00ALFEU BUMBA bumbaalfeu821@gmail.com
This article makes a diagnostic assessment of a student with level one autistic disorder, addresses the actions that stimulate socio-effective interaction and aims to propose an intervention strategy, which aims to stimulate the skills to develop and relate, contributing to their socialization and better learning. Methodologically, this is a case study with an action-research approach, having used the methods of literature review, analysis-synthesis, induction-deduction, observation, scale of the playful session focused on learning, psychopedagogical characterization form and children's drawing. The study indicates that there is significant difficulty in socio-affective interaction, fine motor skills, pairing letters or vowels, and stereotypical behavior, which inhibit the development of socio-affective skills and autonomy. The CRA states in its art. 7 that the validity and legal force of a custom that is not contrary to the Constitution nor violates the dignity of the human person is recognized. This also means that as such it is on the same footing as the law, having done away with the distinction of custom contra legem, praeter legem and secundum legem, in light of the law of good reason.

However, based on the concept of Law, its delimitation, scope, reason for being and its functions, it can be inferred that customary law and customs in themselves are more for the identification of peoples than for regulating a society, as can be deduced from its concept, that is, as a set of practices repeated with the conviction of its validity. Therefore, as a source of law, it is questionable, if we start from its concept, especially considering the multiculturalism and the diverse customs that characterize the Angolan legal system, whose mosaic is made up of more than a hundred peoples, making up more than a hundred customs; being able to translate more than a hundred ways of looking at the law of a group of multi-ethnic, polytheistic, non-literate peoples with oral tradition. Which would certainly undermine the ideals of a unitary state.
2025-07-15T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2025 BERNABÉ NGONGOhttp://revista.ispsn.org/index.php/rsn/article/view/508SOUND/AUDIOVISUAL DOCUMENT AS A TEACHING AID IN FLE CLASSE TO DEVELOP ORAL COMPREHENSION. Thus, the study show the reasons why teachers and students do not take advantage of the materials made available to them by the Resource Centre and the Manual that come with CDs and DVDs with the purpose of improving Oral Comprehension. However, students know the language without even being able to produce it: This choice is due to the difficulties identified among future teachers. This article aims to propose a lesson plan and respective exploration grids for sound/audio-visual documents. It is important to note that this research is descriptive and application, using observation and statically methods. And to collect data, we applied questionnaires aimed at teachers and students. The results of our research show that the use of audio-visual documents is practically non-existent. The lack of continuous training prevents the insertion of these documents among teachers and students.
2025-07-15T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2025 CLÁUDIO SALOMÃO ANTÓNIOhttp://revista.ispsn.org/index.php/rsn/article/view/510FOREIGN LANGUAGE LEARNING: THE STRATEGIES FOR TEACHER IN LEARNER´S MOTIVATION2025-07-15T12:16:40+00:00Rufina Sussu Barros Gracianobarrosrufina75@gmail.com
The purpose of this paper is to explore the literature on motivation in foreign language learning. Based on that, it is widely believed that among other individual differences in foreign language learning (personality, aptitude, learning style…) motivation is a complex phenomenon to deal with. Because when people have the desire to learn a language they engage in a community more effectively. Also, they feel more secure. Being capable of stringing a cluster of words to form a phrase, some phrases to form a sentence, and then sentences to culminate with an effective paragraph, is being quite challenging to some language learners, mainly when the issue lies in writing some scholarly information. Therefore, a great number of ELT secondary school learners have some difficulties to write a correct paragraph. In this sense, writing a correct paragraph requires the mastery of many linguistic sub-skills. So in building this article, the main and sub- objectives center on raising trainers’ awareness and interest to devote more time to the writing teaching; and secondly, using of effective strategies to enable ELT learners writing a good paragraph. The study’s general field (topic) is writing. In terms of methodology, three methods were essential for obtaining confident results: questionnaire, observation and text analysis. A correct paragraph should have organization, coherence, cohesion and entirely unified. Consequently, writing accurately a simple letter, an academic essay, a thesis or a dissertation is very complex task if the writer does not have an effective training on paragraph writing. This article is an introductory attempt to help the trainers to improve their learners’ art of paragraph writing. This current study came to conclusion that with the application of logical strategies namely coherence, cohesion, unity, format and organization in writing lessons, the learners could produce an effective paragraph.
2025-07-15T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2025 EMANUEL BARCAhttp://revista.ispsn.org/index.php/rsn/article/view/512IMPACT OF SUPERVISORY PRACTICES ON THE DEVELOPMENT OF TEACHERS IN THE SCHOOL COMPLEX BG-1011 JOAQUIM KAPANGO, BENGUELA.2025-07-15T13:46:54+00:00JORGINA ALEIXO NGANDUjorgina.ngandinha1997@gmail.com
This article focuses on the impact of supervisory practices on the development of teachers in the school complex BG-1011 Joaquim Kapango, Benguela. The investigation ended with a quanti-qualitative approach and for the collection and analysis of data, we resorted to a questionnaire survey on the Likert scale, involving teachers, a semi-structured interview with school managers of the intermediate structure, a bibliographic review and document analysis. The results of the study made it possible to understand that, although educational policies and the educational reforms anchored in them point to improving the quality of education and teaching, the perceptions of field actors cast some obscurity in relation to the results and the real impact of these reforms. The actors observe clear gaps between what is expressed in the legislation that supports national education and teaching policies and the impacts on the daily lives of citizens and society, even with a clear expansion of the school network. We conclude that the negative implications coexist from the point of view of quality and equity, of decentralization and of the operationalization of the constructivist ends of society and political of the State.
2025-07-15T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2025 admin adminhttp://revista.ispsn.org/index.php/rsn/article/view/516INSTITUTIONAL DIGITAL REPOSITORIES, AS TOOLS FOR THE VISIBILITY OF ANGOLAN SCIENTIFIC PRODUCTION2025-07-15T15:00:55+00:00LOY INÁCIO GONÇALVESloygoncalves@ufpr.brRODRIGO EDUARDO BOTELHO - FRANCISCOrodrigobotelho@ufpr.brMILTON SHINTAKUshintaku@ibict.br
Digital Repositories, whether thematic, governmental, theses and dissertations or institutional, are tools that, facilitated by information and communication technologies, play a fundamental role in the access and dissemination of scientific production. Several countries, such as Angola, have adopted actions to implement repositories, and their lack of them hinders not only access to local scientific production, but also the visibility of institutions and researchers. This article generally shows the role of RDs in the visibility of scientific production. And specifically, it presents concepts of the open science movement, communication and scientific production within the scope of open access. The research uses a qualitative approach. The method used is bibliographic research, with searches in the Web of Science, Scielo, RedAlyc AmeliCA, EBSCOhost Platform and also documentary research using presidential decrees, organic statutes, and statistical reports. The technique used is documentary analysis and participant observation, through the presence of the researcher in the research field to observe and record information relevant to the research. The results show that there is a potential source of scientific production in Angola capable of populating digital repositories, as is the case of Agostinho Neto University, considering the number of people awarded master's, doctorate and undergraduate degrees in the last six years, or even teachers who participated in national and international scientific events presenting the results of their completed or ongoing research.
2025-07-15T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2025 LOY INÁCIO GONÇALVES, RODRIGO EDUARDO BOTELHO - FRANCISCO, MILTON SHINTAKUhttp://revista.ispsn.org/index.php/rsn/article/view/517A LOOK AT ANGOLAN POLICY ON THE IMPORTATION OF SCHOOL NOTEBOOKS: A PERSPECTIVE OF CULTURAL IDENTITY AND ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION FOR PRIMARY SCHOOL CHILDREN2025-07-15T14:55:31+00:00JÚNIOR JOÃO AMÉRICOjuniorjoaoamerico@gmail.comISAÍAS DOS SANTOS MANUEL PEDROisaiaspanzo@hotmail.com
This paper investigated the effectiveness of an educational intervention aimed at revitalizing Angolan costume culture and promoting environmental education in a primary school. The research was conducted at School No. 78 Comandante Valódia, located in the municipality of Negage, Uíge province, and involved the participation of 176 students, 8 teachers and 2 members of the school management. Adopting a mixed methodology, the study combined theoretical and empirical methods, including semi-structured interviews and direct observation. The intervention consisted of two main fronts: the implementation of the weekly use of African costumes by students and the implementation of environmental education activities, focusing on the proper disposal of solid waste. As part of the intervention, notebooks were distributed with covers illustrated by Angolan public figures in traditional costumes and back covers with cartoons on environmental conservation. The results demonstrated a significant increase in participation in both areas, indicating an increase in the use of African costumes and greater environmental awareness. Research suggests that integrating cultural and environmental elements into teaching materials is an effective strategy for promoting behavioral change and valuing cultural and environmental identity in school contexts.
2025-07-15T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2025 JÚNIOR AMÉRICO, Isaías Pedrohttp://revista.ispsn.org/index.php/rsn/article/view/520VARIABILITY OF STUDENT BEHAVIOR WITH SPECIAL EDUCATIONAL NEEDS OF A PROCESSOLOGICAL NATURE: A CASE STUDY2025-07-15T15:23:47+00:00HENRIQUE GASPAR AURÉLIOhenriquesgas414@gmail.com
This study addresses the theme, “the variability of the behavior of the student with special educational needs of a processological nature from a perspective focused on a case study, in the BG-1038 School Complex of Special Education of Benguela”, with the purpose of analyzing the variability of the behavior of the student with special educational needs of a processological nature in the teaching-learning process. The research identifies these gaps, addressing the discrepancy between the reality of Cabinda's cultural heritage and the scarcity of models for teaching local history. It also examines the ideological agreements and disagreements in the narratives about the historical-political evolution of Vila do Belize and Tandu-Nzinze, as well as the conflict in the designation of the local language, “Ibinda/Fioti”. In view of this, historiographical, bibliographical and documentary analysis methods were used to collect data, including qualitative research, thus allowing an in-depth exploration of the content produced by the students and the authors consulted. The results indicate that the construction of narratives about local history (re)values the cultural memory of the region, establishing a connection between academic training and local reality. However, the silences and absences observed reveal an imbalance in the training of individuals and in historiographical production, suggesting a single vision of History that can distort the complexity of societies. This situation highlights the need for a more inclusive and comprehensive approach in the teaching of local history, promoting a richer and more plural understanding of the historical experiences of the region.
2025-07-15T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2025 JOÃO SUNDAhttp://revista.ispsn.org/index.php/rsn/article/view/521THE STRUCTURE OF CHILDREN'S SONGS FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF PEDAGOGICAL ATIVITIES IN PRIMARY EDUCATION IN THE CONTEXT OF ANGOLAN HIGHER EDUCATION2025-07-15T15:29:29+00:00ANTÓNIO FERNANDO PEDRO MUHONGOantoniomuhongo89@gmail.comLUÍSA CAPOMBOlcapombo@gmail.comFELISBERTO VIDAL COSTA MANECASfelisvida08@gmail.com
This article investigates the structure of children's songs and their contribution to the development of pedagogical activities in Angolan primary education, with a particular focus on the context of higher education. The main objective is to analyse the structural elements of children's songs - melody, lyrics and rhythm - and to highlight their importance and applicability in the teaching-learning process. The research adopts a qualitative approach, based on a rigorous bibliographical review, which made it possible to identify and explore relevant theories, concepts and arguments around the subject. The results show that a well-designed and properly contextualised musical structure makes a significant contribution to children's learning, helping them to develop oral and written language, memorisation skills, socialisation, emotional expression, aesthetic appreciation of musical art and improved concentration in the classroom. The conclusion is that the creation and implementation of dynamic musical structures that are flexible and adapted to the cultural and pedagogical context of schools is fundamental for teachers to be able to integrate nursery rhymes into educational practices, especially in the subject of Music Education.
2025-07-15T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2025 ANTÓNIO MUHONGO, LUÍSA CAPOMBO, FELISBERTO MANECAShttp://revista.ispsn.org/index.php/rsn/article/view/523THE IMPACT OF EMPLOYABILITY POLICIES ON REDUCING THE YOUTH UNEMPLOYMENT RATE: AN ANALYSIS BASED ON FIGURES IN THE ANGOLAN CONTEXT (2019-2023)2025-07-15T15:43:32+00:00BENDITO GUILHERME MUHUSSObenditogui@gmail.com
The aim of this article is to analyze, based on official figures, the role of the “Promoting Employability” program in getting young people into the labour market and its impact on reducing unemployment rates among young people aged 15-24 in Angola in the period 2019-2023. The research was methodologically based on qualitative and quantitative approaches, using document analysis and descriptive statistical analysis, with the Ministry of Finance repository, the National Statistics Institute (INE) database and the Ministry of Administration, Labor and Social Security (MAPTSS) reports as data sources. The results of the research show that the “Promoting Employability” program was successful in terms of its objectives, benefiting 120 244 individuals with vocational training and internships, training in entrepreneurship and business management techniques, microcredit and support for cooperatives/young people, and contributing to the creation of more than 118 jobs. However, in terms of its impact on the economic context, the program has not helped to reduce the high rate of youth unemployment, since, according to INE data, unemployment rates among young people aged between 15 and 24 have tended to rise, and stood at between 54.40% and 58.30% in the period under review.
2025-07-15T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2025 BENDITO MUHUSSOhttp://revista.ispsn.org/index.php/rsn/article/view/524CULTURE, DIMENSIONS OF CULTURE AND CULTURAL POLICY IN ANGOLA2025-07-15T15:45:28+00:00PAULO MULELEpaulomulele@ua.pt
The present study is about cultural policy in Angola from the precepts inherent to culture, its dimensions and everything it is, what it should be and why it would be, what was done, what stopped being done based on what was produced and its effects on Angolan society, whose characteristics are ethnically diverse. This study used a qualitative approach, which helped in the development of ideas and contextualization of the phenomena and is quite essential in the generalization of data. And, in order to acquire the information, we consulted documents and works by authors who had already studied the subject. With regard to the analysis of the results, it was possible to conclude that a policy of destruction and extermination of the native social, cultural, political and economic structures was witnessed. The empirical study took place during the 2015 school year at a Missionary School of the I and II Cycle of Secondary Education in the Municipality of Benguela, and adopted an essentially qualitative nature, with the case study being the research strategy adopted. The main data collection technique was questionnaire research, which was applied to a sample of forty-two teachers from a universe of sixty-two. Document analysis was adopted as a complementary means of data collection. Simple statistical analysis was the preferred data processing technique. The main results of this research indicate that, according to the participating teachers, the position of principal should be held by a teacher with specialized training in the area of school management and administration.
