Epistemological view of Angolan literature / Angolan literature

Abstract

In this essay, an attempt was made to problematize the concepts of Angolan literature and that of Angolan literature. The choice of this study results from a frequent misunderstanding between both noun phrases. On the other hand, it is due to the scarcity and existing investigation about it. Therefore, in an attempt to elucidate the reasons for choosing the theme, our main scope is to problematize the background and form of the concepts mentioned above. To achieve the above objective, the comparative method and bibliographic analysis were used, seeking to glimpse the different existing knowledge about the same subject. Likewise, it is worth mentioning the analytical and the synthetic, taking into account the new truths that have been found and demonstrated. It is concluded that literature in Angola is conceived in a holistic-prismatic dimension, in other words, several literatures have emerged throughout its genesis, namely: Angolan literatures, Angolan literature of Portuguese expression, as well as both listed in the title of this study.
