Abstract

This article addresses aspects of relevant importance for endogenous local development, in this case, the Region of Huambo.

One of the most discussed points currently in the world development process is the analysis of sustainability, as opposed to the discussion of inequalities between living conditions in different regions of the globalized world and the care to be taken with the environment.

Economic transformations and technological advances have played a large role in the growth and expansion of the world's productive forces, characterised by major changes in the management and organisation of the globalised industrial production system.

Although there is a desire to standardize life so that it is common to all human beings, there is still a great disparity, a great inequality gap, even verifying that some regions reap the fruits of economic growth in a different way, for the better, and others, for the worse.
