Abstract

The present study intends, in essence, to address the reasons for reading the classical texts of the negritude expressed in Portuguese. Among the various questions that the theme itself raises for teleological compression of the black-African literary thought, the following stand out: First, in the context of the blackness of Portuguese expression, what is a classical work? Secondly, why read it? Third, what are your ideological content? Conscious, however, of the diversity of classical texts, we decided, by choice, to only emerge some texts in a very brief way, because that their funds require another type of coteting, more systematic and comprehensive. It is the objective of this work to do with the unknown (occult, mysterious and enigmatic) in the classical texts of Lusophone blackness become known.
