The Teaching - Learning of the nursing care process through the problematization methodology

Abstract

This research was done with the objective of evaluating the teaching-learning process of Nursing Attention through the problematization methodology. Through a Qualitative-Descriptive analysis performed to the students of the 2nd year of nursing of the ISPSN in a universe of 80 students; to evaluate the data were evaluated individual work in the period of the 1st and 2nd semester of the Nursing Care Process through clinical case studies. Percentage data are presented in statistical tables with frequency distribution generated by the Microsoft Excel program, in the second semester students obtained a better understanding of the Nursing Attention Process than in the first semester; since they showed learning and understanding. The study reflects that the problem-solving methodology should be stimulated more and more; which implies the qualification of the teachers to unify the Nursing Attention Process allowing the student to perfect in the judgment and critical reasoning for a better care with the patient besides contributing to a training of excellence in the graduation of nursing interacting the theory with the practice in the teaching-learning process.
