This work is into the vision of desconstructivist discursive and it aims to problematize the representation of the portuguese language of the haitian people who live in the city of Três Lagoas. We start from the theoretical and methodological principles derived from cultural studies and the french line of the discourse analysis, which among other objectives seeks the social production of meanings. We approach the notion of subject, discourse and discursive formation from the authors such as Pêcheux and Foucault; representation from the author Coracini. Thus, through semi-structured interviews, recorded and transcribed, we aim to reflect about the representation that the haitin subject has about the portuguese language. Lastly, we could observe, from the analysis, that on the discourse of the analised people there is the representation of the foreigner with some social restrictions and they start because of the language and when they can speak the language they, mainly, have good conditions to adapt in Brazil.
