Abstract

This article “Teachers' perception of the importance of the psych pedagogue in assisting students with learning difficulties at Escolar Prim aria BG nº 1078 Beguile”, was based on the following research problem: What is the teachers' perception of the importance of the psych pedagogue to assist students with learning difficulties at primary school BG no. 1078 in the Municipality of Beguile? We sought to analyze the teachers' perception of the importance of educational psychologists in assisting students with learning difficulties at the school in question. This is a qualitative and quantitative investigation, of a descriptive nature, using theoretical, empirical and mathematical-statistical methods. The results reveal that within the functions of the psychopedagogue, they highlighted the prevention of possible disturbances in the learning process, identification of learning difficulties and treatment of learning problems. The educational psychologist helps to understand possible disturbances in the learning process, participates in the dynamics of the educational community, favoring integration and promoting methodological guidelines to improve the teaching-learning processes.
