THE STRUCTURE OF CHILDREN'S SONGS FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF PEDAGOGICAL ATIVITIES IN PRIMARY EDUCATION IN THE CONTEXT OF ANGOLAN HIGHER EDUCATION
Keywords:
nursery rhymes, development, pedagogical ativitiesAbstract
This article investigates the structure of children's songs and their contribution to the development of pedagogical activities in Angolan primary education, with a particular focus on the context of higher education. The main objective is to analyse the structural elements of children's songs - melody, lyrics and rhythm - and to highlight their importance and applicability in the teaching-learning process. The research adopts a qualitative approach, based on a rigorous bibliographical review, which made it possible to identify and explore relevant theories, concepts and arguments around the subject. The results show that a well-designed and properly contextualised musical structure makes a significant contribution to children's learning, helping them to develop oral and written language, memorisation skills, socialisation, emotional expression, aesthetic appreciation of musical art and improved concentration in the classroom. The conclusion is that the creation and implementation of dynamic musical structures that are flexible and adapted to the cultural and pedagogical context of schools is fundamental for teachers to be able to integrate nursery rhymes into educational practices, especially in the subject of Music Education.
